My Fair Wedding with David Tutera

I was on the edge of my seat last night waiting to see my work displayed in the beautiful setting that David Tutera created. Unfortunately, they couldn't show all the different pieces - but that's television.

The escort cards were beautifully displayed as well which they didn't show but luckily one of the producers shared these great photos with me taken by Michael Segal Wedding Photography michaelsegalweddings.com We are delighted to be included with a fabulous group of vendors and show!

We are so excited that David Tutera and his team have asked us to be a part of My Fair Wedding. We produced programs, escort cards, table numbers and menus for 150 guests at the wedding of Monique and Gustavo. The show airs this Sunday on WeTV at 10p. Don't miss it!!

Aurora and Minh contacted me from San Diego to design their French themed wedding invitations. They didn't have a large budget but still wanted something classy and substantial to impress their guests. I designed, produced and mailed these invitations for around $25 each. The invitations have a silk covered 1/8 inch thick board with a vintage lace band around the back side which holds the rsvp card, envelope and website card. Invitations are ink jet printed on letterpress paper.

I met Michelle and Gordon when we bought our home from them in North Carolina. They also happened to be getting married. What a beautiful couple in love!! I had so much fun creating these invites - something a little different that what I have done in the past. These invitations were screen printed on a handkerchief. The inserts were ink jet printed and inserted into a die cut pocket fold.

Blake and Brandon were a lovely couple from San Diego who contacted me for their garden wedding theme. I just love how they turned out and all the different colors that were incorporated. All paper goods were ink jet printed on letterpress paper and hand cut. The pocket was hand made and stitched.

Lisa Steinke (of chicklitisnotdead.com) and Matt Dannenfeldt came to me for a total wedding package. This design and color scheme was definitely one of my faves. I LOVED working with Lisa & Matt as well as the simplicity of their design and paper goods. Everything was ink-jet printed on letterpress paper and hand cut.

At the ABC Event Last night, I had the pleasure of meeting Photography by Jade www.weddingsbyjade.com. We headed straight for the photobooth www.actionphotobooth.com and took some silly photos. They even had props (no, I was not wearing that hat all night).

I attended my first ABC event last night. It was a networking mixer at the Westlake Village Inn.
One of the vendors at the event was Karl Johnson, Silhouette Artist www.cutarts.com. He created this silhouette of me in under 1 minute. What a great talent!

I met Alice Patterson of Alice G Patterson Photography a few years back when we were working together at Events on Robertson. She is a very talented photographer and also a great friend. Alice hired me a few years back to do her promotional mailers and a few other photo mailers as well as magazine ads. This photo is the latest that I designed and printed for AGP. Creative Blu now offers custom jewelry for our clients. It all started when one of my brides asked for a specific bracelet ensemble to include inside silk boxes as gifts for her bridesmaids, friends and family. I thought hmm.... why not? So I made about 30 total - since then have been making them for friends as gifts. It is almost as much fun as assembling invitations!

Meredith and Gil were married June 28, 2008 at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. They were such a lovely couple and a pleasure work with. Meredith & Gil's design originated from a cake design they found in a magazine. We started with a printed design for the save the dates and then used that artwork throughout the wedding accessories. The invitation was a silk folio lined with black venice lace and lots of fuchsia Swarovski Crystals.
The final invitation was mailed in a black box mailer filled with fuchsia paper shred. They were so pretty!
